Alex Sokolov receives Martin Reynolds Smith award for the best research paper

Alexander Sokolov, a graduate student of Prof. Henry F. Schaefer, received Martin Reynolds Smith Award for the best research paper published in the refereed journal by a graduate student. Alexander received this award for the paper he published in the Journal of Chemical Physics titled "Orbital-optimized density cumulant functional theory" (J. Chem. Phys. 2013, 139, 204110).

Brandon Magers, a graduate student of Prof. Wesley D. Allen, received an Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award to recognize his performance of his teaching responsibilities. This award honors teaching performance that ranks in the top ten percent of all TAs serving at the University.
